Raw single-protein food for dogs & cats: ground whole-prey rabbit, duck & quail
Allergic or sensitive pet? Raw feeding with one protein at a time makes it easier to find what works. Each 500g pack is a single protein, ground whole with bone, ready for BARF and PMR raw diets.
BARF and PMR are raw feeding styles. BARF adds some veggies and fruit; PMR (Prey Model Raw) is meat, bone, and organs only.
Is this right for my pet?
✅ Great for: raw-fed dogs and cats, allergic pets and elimination diets, protein rotation, and DIY raw meals.
⚠️ Raw only: it contains ground bone, which becomes hard to digest once cooked. For a cooked option, see our Gently Cooked Single Proteins.
Flavors & what’s inside
🐇 Rabbit — lean novel protein, a top pick for severe allergies
65% muscle meat | 25% bone | 5% liver | 5% other organs
Rabbit muscle meat, bone, heart, lungs, trachea, liver, kidney, bladder, brain, eyes, tongue. Raised in-house and sourced from trusted rabbit growers in Luzon.
🦆 Duck — richer and higher in fat, great for picky eaters
44% muscle meat | 31% bone | 25% skin
Duck muscle meat, bone, and skin. Sourced from Australia. No organs — add organ meat for more nutrients.
🐦 Quail — small novel protein, great for rotation
70% muscle meat | 20% bone | 5% organs, plus skin
Whole quail (muscle meat, bone, organs, skin).
How to feed (per day)
Dogs: Puppies 4–8% of body weight · Adults 2–3%
Cats: Kittens 5–10% of body weight in 3–4 meals · Adults 2–4% in 2 meals (a 4kg cat eats about 80–160g a day). As a topper: about 1 tbsp (15g) per meal.
One protein alone isn’t a full diet — rotate proteins and add organs for variety.
Storage & handling
• Keep frozen
• Thaw in the fridge (about 24 hours)
• You can portion and refreeze — do it right after thawing in the fridge. Don’t refreeze food left out at room temperature.
• Once thawed, use within 48 hours
• Raw only — do not cook (contains bone)
• Wash hands, bowls, and surfaces after handling
FAQ
Can I cook it?
No. Even when ground, bone turns hard and difficult to digest once cooked, which can cause constipation or tummy upset. Raw ground bone stays soft and easy to digest.
Which protein is best for allergies?
Rabbit and quail are new to most pets, so start with one of those.
Is it a complete and balanced meal?
No. Single proteins are not complete and balanced on their own. Rabbit and quail include meat, bone, and organs — for more variety, rotate proteins and add organs, especially with duck. Message us and we’ll help you plan.
